- Advice and training for business, organizations, governments and individuals on occupational health & safety regulatory compliance and enforcement, including workplace policy development, incident investigation, and inspector orders.
- Negotiation with government officials and advocacy before provincial and federal tribunals, trial and appeal courts on occupational health & safety administrative, civil and prosecution matters, including the Labour Relations Board, corners’ inquests and public inquiries.

- Litigated criminal and civil trial and appellate cases up to level of Supreme Court of Canada.
- Legal advisor to Human Resources and Skills Development Canada’s Labour Program while serving as counsel with Justice Canada, including leading litigation under the health and safety provisions of the Canada Labour Code.
- Served as management co-chair of Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee.
